Kids Bowl Free

It seems like every time we do something with Amanda and Adeline, I want to start the post with “Today was so much fun!”  And this time isn’t any different.  We had a great time today.  Drew and Adeline had their BB session at noon.  We went to Adeline’s for a picnic lunch and then we set the butterflies they started from a butterfly starter kit free.  Arthur (the cutest dog ever) was doing his best to catch the butterflies.  Drew wasn’t all that excited about this part of the day.  A butterfly landed on my leg and he started to scream “Shew butterfly!”

Then we went bowling at this awesome place called Stars and Strikes in Roswell.  This place was awesome!  There was a restaurant, a huge arcade, laser tag, a bowling alley with 20 lanes and a private bowling alley.  Inside the main bowling alley there were HUGE screen TV’s spaced out across the lanes.  Each lane had lights flashing up and down the lane.  The coolest part about the lane was that you could set the bumpers up or down for EACH bowler!! At each lane there was a couch and a table.  And then a counter bar with stools where you could eat.  We signed the kids up on the kidsbowlfree.com website so they can bowl 2 free games per day all summer.  Wednesday’s is .99 game day so the adults can bowl too!  We were having so much fun we ended up bowling 4 games.  Wednesday is also .50 wings so we took some wings home for dinner.

By the time we got home it was after 6.  So we had some dinner, did exercises and off to bed.

  • This morning he ate eggs, bacon and apples without me having to feed it to him.
  • He may not be able to tell you the main idea of a story, but he’s going to eat us out of house and home!  Tonight he ate his weight in FF at the bowling alley. Then we got home he ate gluten free macaroni and cheese, 4 gluten free chicken nuggets, 2 nitrate free turkey dogs and an organic juice popsicle!
  • At our picnic lunch, there was a chip left on the table and Adeline said “Drew, do you want this?” He said “No, no thank you but you can have it.”
  • At the bowling alley after his turn Drew ran up to Amanda and said “Hey Amanda, I did it!” and held his hands up for high fives.  Then he did it several more times.  It was so cute!
  •  Then I turned into chopped liver.  I went up with him to help him with his turn and he said “No, I need Amanda.  Amanda come here!”

Tomorrow we are going to see a Cat in the Hat puppet show and have lunch.

Until next time,

Abby and Arthur.  I think he's telling her a secret!
